Plagued by recurring nightmares after having turned ten years old, the young men and women from four separate families seek to uncover the truth of their connectedness.

What was your drive behind making this film?
Ethan Emmert: Pieces of this film are based on a nightmare I used to have as a child, additionally, the theme of guilt is one I have wanted to explore since beginning as a filmmaker.
How you feel when you are awarded with the MP FILM AWARD Award?
Ethan Emmert: It was the first award I actually won for any film, so it was an experience I can never replicate and it was truly incredible and humbling.
Can you tell us about the greatest moment during shooting this film?
Ethan Emmert: Filming the climax of the film was a lot of fun, knowing how close we were to finishing.
How rigorously did you stick to the script while shooting?
Ethan Emmert: I tried to stay as close to the script I wrote as I could, but many audibles had to be pulled. Working independently leaves things very volatile, so being able to roll with the punches is very helpful.
Where there any onset problems During the filming of the film & how did you deal with it?
Ethan Emmert: Scheduling was a problem I knew I would run into seeing as I wasn’t working with any known actors, so peoples’ schedules involved everything in their very busy lives. Being able to make adjustments on the fly or even rewrite scenes kept everything together.
Do you have any advice for young filmmaker out there? Or like yourself?
Ethan Emmert: No matter the circumstances, work on anything in any way you can, be it filming on a phone, just writing down your ideas, or working with a huge budget. Get your ideas out there in any way you can.
Do you think it is essential to go to a film institute in order to become a successful filmmaker?
Ethan Emmert: I can’t understate the importance of the technical components of filmmaking, but when it comes to ideas and vision and passion, that can’t be taught.

Ethan Emmert: Lord of the Flies
If you got the opportunity to go back in time & change something in any particular movie of yours, then which movie & what changes will you opt for?
Ethan Emmert: I have learned a lot from my mistakes, so I don’t think I would make any changes.
If you were to shoot the film again, what would you do differently?
Ethan Emmert: I would have worked harder at keeping to a set schedule.
What is your greatest achievement till date?
Ethan Emmert: Completing three feature films without any kind of financing.
How do you pick yourself up after a failed film?
Ethan Emmert: Just move onto the next project and never compromise on vision.
