Katsuhide Yamago I started creating 8mm films in college. I have been working on numerous TV shows in a production company after graduating from college. For the last two years, I have been streaming short films on Youtube.

What was your drive behind making this film?
Katsuhide Yamago: When I wondered what the future of VR would be, I expected this to happen. And also I thought that everyone have the feeling of love for children. That is the universal truth.
How you feel when you are awarded with the MP FILM AWARD Award.
Katsuhide Yamago: Yes! I'm honestly happy to evaluate my film.
Can you tell us about the greatest moment during shooting this film?
Katsuhide Yamago: It was rainy day and cold. Every cast got muddy. I feel sorry for them.
When I said “Cut!”, Kazuki as “Manager” ask me “How is my act?”
His act was falling into the mud. Of course, His clothes are wet and dirty.
That was his private clothes. I said “Not Bad”. He said “Let me try again!”
How rigorously did you stick to the script while shooting?
Katsuhide Yamago: Not really. I've been thinking about how to enrich images more than my imagination while shooting.
Where there any onset problems During the filming of the film & how did you deal with it?
Katsuhide Yamago: It’s a rain. I told all cast and stuff in advance that I'll shoot even in the rain.
Do you have any advice for young filmmaker out there? Or like yourself?
Katsuhide Yamago: Have a will to finish your film, even if you are alone.
Do you think it is essential to go to a film institute in order to become a successful filmmaker?
Katsuhide Yamago: I don’t think so. Maybe self-study is okay at all.
Which film has inspired you the most?
Katsuhide Yamago: I have no idea. If I had to choose, “Seven Samurai” especially fight scene in the rain.
Which particular film maker has influenced you the most?
Katsuhide Yamago: Derek Jarman
Which book would you love to make a film out of one day?
Katsuhide Yamago: Marguerite Duras“La Pluied'été”
If you got the opportunity to go back in time & change something in any particular movie of yours, then which movie & what changes will you opt for?
Katsuhide Yamago: ”no plan”! I have some scene to add. I want to shoot more.
If you were to shoot the film again, what would you do differently?
Katsuhide Yamago: VFX will be getting better.
What is your greatest achievement till date?
Katsuhide Yamago: “Sparkle”, ”A World Without You” Both film are near closely my ideal images. I was very proud.
How do you pick yourself up after a failed film?
Katsuhide Yamago: Just making a next film!
